Project:
Determine if the water used for a green wall can be linked to the sanitary system of its building.
Steps of planning:
· Determine criteria
§ What watering system is typically used for green walls?
· Initial research
§ Research further into green wall watering systems
§ How is the green wall system linked into a building?
§ How is the wastewater cleaned?
§ Research through books and internet websites
· Secondary research
§ Research a typical building sanitary system
§ Any added pumping system required?
§ Research by personal contacts and interviews
· Data collection
§ Collect all researched data and any extra information
§ Identify vital information
· Conclude
§ Acquire any final information
§ Determine if this method would work
Also:
· Contact Architect for new University building on campus
· Research a Mechanical Engineer who has worked on a green building system
Special Problems:
· Green walls are new which could mean less articles and books for research
· This process of joining water systems may not be possible
